Exposa is a family owned business that has been working with antiques and art since 1993. Though based in Chicago, they do their own buying throughout Europe. Exposa specializes in Empire, Biedermeier, and Viennese Secession bentwood. They also have a vast collection of unique art and decorative objects from the 1800-1930 era including original paintings, ceramics and glass.
Their expertise and knowledge has been helping collectors and designers throughout America to discover the beauty and investment that each exceptional piece symbolizes. They pride themselves in their ability to discover each piece and restore it to its original quality in order to retain its historical value for centuries to come.
We accept Pay Pal and Bank Transfers as payment options. Payment options are dependent on the item and its price. For security purposes, certain items of higher value may only be paid via bank transfer. We will always alert customers when this is the case.
The sale price of an item does not include transportation, insurance, taxes and customs. Costs can only be calculated after the destination is determined.
Exposa is happy to organize transportation through our trusted providers. We will communicate the cost estimate to the customer and will collect all costs before the transportation takes place. Shipping cost will be calculated based on the packing requirements, size, weight and destination.
Customers may choose to arrange their own shipping. In this case the final cost of transportation (including the transportation insurance, customs fees, and taxes) are their responsibility.
Our goal is always our customer's full satisfaction. Not all items are eligible for return. If an item is eligible for a return, returns will be accepted within 7 days of receiving the delivery.
The purchaser may be asked to pay a 10% handling fee and the transportation cost.
If you feel you have received an incorrect or damaged item, please contact us immediately. We need to receive your notification within 48 hours of you receiving your order and if possible, enclose a photo of the damage. We will work to to replace or refund any damaged or incorrect items.
We will process refunds and/or provide credit after the returned goods have been received. Your order total will be refunded, minus costs for shipping and handling each way.
